Nominate IAW at this years Liverpool Business Awards

We'd love it if you would nominate us in this years Liverpool Business Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Marketing Campaign.

With the eve of IAWHQ first birthday approaching, yes I know it's only been 12 month since we landed in the city centre of Liverpool.

And what a 12 months it's been making new friends, jumping in to the world of the Liverpool networking scene and picking some excellent new clients along the way including, Liverpool John Moores University, Everton Football Club, Citizens Advice Bureau to name but a few.

So we all learned to write in school - but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll find writing your website easy. If writing's not your main job, you'll probably struggle to find the time to get everything down on paper, let alone tangling with grammar, proofing, web copy and the dark arts of search engine optimisation.    

It’s About Websites takes centre stage this month as the Merseyside ACME’s featured business profile.

As a part of the feature I had the pleasure of speaking to Ian Hughes from Liverpool Vision to discuss the background of IAW and our services. We also cover several topics including some of our up and coming projects with Hollyoaks’ Max & Ob (Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries) and the Cheshire based bar and restaurant group Residence Ltd.

Well, what can we say? Apart from Thank You, Good Luck and Goodbye. We’ve had some sad news here in IAWHQ after hearing that our networking representative May Fifteen’s Jeni Banks is relocating back to her native Cumbria.

Both myself and Paul can't thank Jeni enough for her work with It's About Websites following our move to IAWHQ in April and the way that she has helped push the IAW name and brand amongst the Liverpool business community.

It’s happy days here in IAWHQ as myself & Paul having jointly been shortlisted for this years Young Entrepreneurs of the year at the Downtown Liverpool in Business Livercool Awards 2009.

We recently had the pleasure of having a visit from the good people at Your Business E-Zine after meeting them several times at networking events in and around Liverpool.
